Hi Darlings!
This week we all celebrate the importance and love for our oceans. In fact, today is the World Ocean Day. Oceans are the preponderant elements of our planet. Mysterious and immense, they cover over 70% of the planet. They are our life source, supporting humanity’s sustenance and that of every other organism on earth.
In this very special day we decided to raise awareness by sharing initiatives that are committed to help one particular ecosystem in the ocean: coral reefs. Coral reefs are suffering of bleaching due to pollution and warming climate. But some say that every clouds has always a silver lining, and this case is no exception. In the last few years some new techniques popped up showing some results in terms of reefs recovery.
We have collected some destination which try to conciliate tourism and coral reefs preservation and, in a little part, recovery. Scroll the gallery and dive into the colorful reefs, and see what can be done for them and for all the little fishes living there!
