August is hands down our favorite part of the year. To attend the last few summer days we want to make a summary of the perfumes that have lit upour August nights this summer.
We have selected some lightly and fresh scents and some warmer alternative good also for the beginning of September. Feel free to start spritzing them right now!
LABORATORIO OLFATTIVO – ARANCIA ROSSA
Let’s start with a super fresh fragrance: the top note is Red Orange; middle notes are Orange Blossom and Passion Fruit; base note is White Musk. We are talking about the new fragrance by Laboratorio Olfattivo, an incredible bouquet for hot summer days.
FRANCESCA BIANCHI – SEX AND THE SEA
This oriental fragrance brings you directly in a tropical dream. The main note is ambra, followed by middle notes of coconut, ananas and a top of vanilla. All in this scent suggest the atmosphere of a passionate date by the sea.
FUGAZZI – ORANGE CRUSH
The final scent is focused around just three main ingredients. Transparent wood, white amber and orange. Together they bring out a a fresh-warm soothing fragrance thatwill gradually intensify on the skin.
TOM FORD – TEUBÉREUSE
Tom Ford is known in these last years for the particular and niche perfumes. We present in this occasion one of our favorite and extremely fresh scent. We are reffering to Tuebereuse Nue, a summer revisitation of Teubéreuse. Top notes are Lily, Jasmine and Sichuan Pepper. Base notes are Suede, Musk, Agarwood.
BYREDO – BLANCHE
A longstanding icon in the Byredo catalogue couldn’t miss in this list. Blanche explores the smell of texture and skin with top notes of Aldehydes, Rose and Pink Pepper. The base ones, on the other hand, are Musk, Woody Notes and Sandalwood which remind the allure and intimacy of human touch.
19-69 – FEMALE CHRIST
The top notes are Eucalipto and Pimento, together with base notes of Ambra, Cashmere wood, Vanilla and Cinnamon.
The story behind the fragrance name is interesting: the name comes from the famous naked girl who carried a cross through the squares of Copenhagen in 1969. They nicknamed her Female Christ. So this scent goes to consolidate this particular historical period with its upheavals of female affirmation and revolution.
